The NFS London Community Cooks Handbook

The handbook will seek to empower you with the skills, confidence, and knowledge necessary to cook large-batch meals for others within your community. You will find practical knowledge such as knife skills, nutritional basics, and recipes, as well as the larger context of food waste, communal eating, community gardening, and food sovereignty, topics which will be discussed later on and can be found in the glossary.

How to Automate your Food Deliveries for free

This workshop will teach you how to use free software, such as google suite, trello and slack, to automate your delivery logistics. Tim, from Cambridge Community Kitchen, will take you through the systems they use and teach you how you can build something similar for your own project.

It's possible automate almost all of the process including route planning, receiving orders and volunteer management.

Participatory Action Research Project Report

In autumn 2021, Rob Logan facilitated a Participatory Action Research project within the National Food Service London community. This was a chance to reflect, connect and think collectively about our everyday experience of the food system. We explored the emotional, relational and spatial contexts that shape our food habits, thinking about the people and places that influence each of our lives.
